Purpose:
To Follow up the National Development Plan and satisfy the requirements of the local industry, and also make the Cultural and Creative Industry progress, the NKFUST Graduate Institute of Industrial Design was founded for the talent development through integrating culture, art, science and technology.

History:
2007 Creative Design Program (Master's Degree) was founded
2008 Graduate Institute of Industrial Design was founded

Objectives:

1. Focus on the integration of technology, humanities and management, covering design and creative business management.
2. Provide training on project planning, and product development and design and hands-on experience.

1. The course plan is based on culture, art, science and technology, and surrounded humanity.
2. To make connections with famous foreign colleges and design studios.
3. Product innovation and sustainable design are emphasized.
